2018 Rockbridge Fair

Equus Survival Trust Equine Clinics

Participants in the Rockbridge/EST clinics must sign up in advance with the appropriate Coordinator listed on the sign up form. All participants must follow check-in procedures for required forms, rules, and stabling assignments.

Thursday
1PM to 3PM: REEL Arena w/Clinician Tricia Mozingo
    - All Breed Obstacle Clinic: "Working Out the Kinks"
    Introductory and intermediates will get the opportunity to work with Clinician Mozingo in the big arena. Instruction includes approach, negotiating and follow through on simple trail obstacles.
FEE: $15 pre-registration / $20 at the event.

4PM to 5PM: REEL Arena w/Clinician Tricia Mozingo
    - Caspian Clinic On-Lead Jumping: "Up & Over"
    Introduction to teaching you how to jump your Caspian in-hand. Emphasis will be on approach and fluid follow through on simple jumps. Good ring practice time before the competition on Friday.
FEE: $15 pre-registration / $20 at the event.

9 AM: Woods on VHC Grounds w/ Clinician Jason Rutledge
    - Intro to Modern Horse Logging and Restorative Forestry
    Spend the morning with Jason Rutledge of Healing Harvest Forestry Foundation demonstrating how to select a tree, cut it down and skid it out using horse power while learning about restorative, resilience forestry.

10AM to Noon: REEL Arena w/ TBA
    - Caspian Conformation Clinic
    Exploring Caspian Type, Movement, Presentation
FEE: $10 pre-registration / $15 registration after August 20th.
